Each month we will be profiling our members. This month we have opened the floor to Niki Barrie. Niki has served the club well, virtually from our founding. She has served as Secretary and as a Committee member since joining the club.

- What was your first Scotland Football Match?
Scotland v England at Hampden in 1987. We got beat!
- Where was your first away match and details?
1998 World Cup. No tickets for the games but I had a great time at the Brazilian Village. We managed to drink the place dry.
- What was the best Scotland game you ever attended and why?
Has to be France v Scotland in September 2007. I do not think I have to explain why!
- Who was the best Scotland player you ever seen live and why?
Ally McCoist, for his enthusiasm for the game. Sadly I never got to see Davie Cooper.
- Who was your favourite Scotland Manager and why?
I do not have a favourite but I can definitely say that Bertie Volgts was my least favourite
- Who do you support in Club Football and Why?
Rangers, they were a very poor side when I was a kid and I love to support the underdog
- What was your first Senior Football match and what was is like?
Rangers against Hearts but I cannot remember the details. I was a teenager at the time.
- Who is the best Football Player you ever seen live and why?
Marco Van Basten. His goal scoring ability was amazing.
- How do you prepare for the following?
- Home matches
I usually start the day with a hangover and spend the rest of the day trying to get rid of it.
- Away Matches
I pack at the last minute then spend the rest of the trip drinking. I have even been that drunk that I cannot remember what game I was at.
- If you were hosting a dinner party and could invite three guest from the past or present who would they be and why?
- Guest One
Ally McCoist ( As long as I get to take him to bed afterwards)
- Guest Two
Billy Connolly, he would keep me laughing all night.
- Guest Three
Jim Baxter for his love of football and for his love of the drink.
- Who would you make serve you all hand and foot because they are your least favourite person and why?
Tony Blair. I would love to wipe that smug grin off his face.
- What are your favourite foods both Domestic and Foreign?
Steak Pie
The local lager wherever I am.
- What is your favourite drink?
Lager in vast quantities.
- Which historical figure would you best describe yourself as?
Annie Oakley could out-shoot, outthink and out-drink most men.
