The term Tartan Army is a term of endearment given to followers of Scotland in the field of sports. In our case it is in relation to following the Scottish National Football Team.
The name Blackearnside was chosen as a mark of respect to our forefathers who defended our nation in the Battle of Blackearnside in 1298. More regarding the battle can be read in the History page of this site.
As a club we have have had many adventures around the globe in pursuit of our pleasure and in some cases pain. Following Scotland has always been what can best be described as a roller coaster ride. Taking us from the heights of elation to the depths of despair. We probably would not have it any other way. (Well maybe more of the heights of elation would not go amiss).
